3ds Max Spline modeling technique Part 1: Surface + Cross Section” modifier

This video explores the principles of modeling 3D topology with a 2D spline method called “surface modeling.” In this first of two videos, Autodesk’s Chris Murray (@chrismmurray) provides a fundamental explanation and example of how to create these surfaces using splines and the Surface modifier and the Cross-Section modifier as well as the rules associated with them. Skill level for this video is beginner to intermediate.
